Kühn, op. cit., vol. 19 (1830; repr. 1965) 574–601.. urn:cts:greekLit:tlg0530.tlg033.local001","excerpt":"{ΓΑΛΗΝΩΙ ΠΡΟΣΓΡΑΦΟΜΕΝΟΝ ΒΙΒΛΙΟΝ ΠΕΡΙ ΟΥΡΩΝ.} Τῶν οὔρων αἱ διαφοραὶ πολλαὶ μὲν κατὰ μέρος, αἱ δὲ πρῶται δύο, χῦμά τε καὶ παρυφι- στάμενον. καλῶ δὲ χῦμα αὐτὸ τὸ οὖρον παρὰ τὸ κεχῦσθαι, παρυφιστάμενον δὲ τὸ ἐν αὐτῷ ἑτεροίως ἐμφαινόμενον. ἀλλὰ τοῦ χύματος πάλιν ἰσάριθμοι τυγχάνουσιν αἱ διαφοραί. δύο γάρ ἐστι τούτου, τὸ μὲν σύστασις, τὸ δὲ χροιά. ἑκάτε- ρον δὲ τούτων εἰς ἕτερα διαιρεῖται. εἰ μὲν οὖν σύστασις εἰς λεπτότητα, παχύτητα καὶ τὸ ἐξ ἀμφοτέρων σύμμετρον. ἀλλὰ τὸ μὲν σύμμετρον ἐπειδὴ κατὰ φύσιν ἐστὶν ἀδιαίρετον ὑπάρχει. τὸ δὲ λεπτὸν καὶ παχὺ τέμνεται διχῆ. τὸ μὲν λεπτὸν ἢ οὐρεῖται λεπτὸν καὶ μένει λεπτὸν ἢ οὐρεῖται λε- πτὸν καὶ ἀναθολοῦται καὶ παχὺ γίνεται.
