Ὕστερον δὲ ἐπιμελέστερον ποτʼ αὐτοῖς γενόμενος ἐξεῦρον τὰ ἀπορηθέντα. Ἦν δὲ τὰ μὲν λοιπὰ τῶν προτέρων θεωρημάτων περὶ τοῦ ὀρθογωνίου κωνοειδέος προβεβλημένα, τὰ δὲ νῦν ἐντι ποτεξευρημένα περί τε ἀμβλυγωνίου κωνοειδέος καὶ περὶ σφαιροειδέων σχημάτων, ὧν τὰ μὲν παραμάκεα, τὰ δὲ ἐπιπλατέα καλέω.
