ΟΙ Ἀρειομανῖται, ὡς ἔοικε, κρίναντες ἅπαξ ἀποστάται γενέσθαι καὶ παραβάται τῆς ἀληθείας, φιλονεικοῦσιν εἰς ἑαυτοὺς Prov. xviii. 3. ἑλκῦσαι τὸ γεγραμμένον, ‘ὅταν ἔλθῃ ἀσεβὴς εἰς βάθος κακῶν, καταφρονεῖ·’ οὔτε γὰρ ἐλεγχόμενοι παύονται, οὔτε ἀποροῦντες Jer. iii. 3. ἐντρέπονται· ἀλλʼ ὡς ‘πόρνης ὄψις, ἀπηναισχύνθησαν πρὸς πάντας’ ἐν ταῖς ἀσεβείαις.
