Οὔτε γὰρ Πιλᾶτον κατὰ τοῦ Χριστοῦ μεμισθωμένον ᾐσχύνετο, οὔτε μὴν φόβον τοσούτων δήμων ᾐδεῖτο ἢ ἐνάρκησε τὸ πλῆθος τῶν ἀπεί- ρων μυριάδων ἐκείνων.
