Καὶ οἱ μὲν ἄπιστοι κακῶς ταύτῃ κέχρηνται, τῶν ἡδέων μόνον τὸν χωρισμὸν ἀποδυρόμενοι, οἱ δὲ πιστοὶ ὡς βοήθημα καὶ ἀλεξιτήριον τῶν αἰσχίστων παθῶν ταύτῃ κατακέχρηνται. Πάντες τοίνυν πεπείσμεθα ὅτι θανάτῳ ὑποκείμεθα, πιστοί τε καὶ ἄπιστοι, τὴν δὲ μετὰ θάνατον κρίσιν οὐ πάντες πεπιστεύκασι.
